  1. I just watched the interview, Joni, and it was such a cool experience to finally “see” you in person! I had my headphones on the entire time to try to pick up whatever sounds I could (to be honest, I wanted to see if I could hear your southern accent!). I was able to barely hear parts of some words, but thankfully the captions were available and I was able to enjoy the entire interview.

I’m so proud of you, my friend, and so excited as well. I eagerly await your book because I know it’s going to resonate with me. Lisa seems like a wonderful person, too, and I loved the compassion she showed you throughout.

I wish you the best with this book, Joni. Your life is a testament to strength, courage, faith and the drive to overcome the darkness and claim the light. Thanks for all you do and for who you are. 😊

    1. When you write anything it is always so directly from the heart that I am brought to tears, good tears do exist and that is what these are. I am so grateful that you listened and that you were able to see the captions. I think it touched my heart that you put on your headphones trying to catch any words or a southern accent. So sweet Mike you are an enduring soul to me. I appreciate your picking up on Lisa’s compassion too. She is a kind person and a blessing to work with. Thank you for your kindness in taking time to do your beautiful feature on me.

I have been overwhelmed with your support and all my other dear friends who have been there now and throughout the last five years.

Blessings my dear friend. Sending you my love and prayers always. ❤️🙏Joni

    1. Thank you so much Tim. I am glad that you watched the interview, thank you so much. I think Lisa did a really great job at making me feel as comfortable as possible. Thank you for your kind words, and I do appreciate your listening. Great big hugs and love, Joni

  2. This is going to be my evening sit down. Cuppa tea and my entertainment. So excited for you Joni dearest. The cover looks amazing. 👏👏👏💖💖

    1. We love our tea too my friend. You are such a sweetheart. If you have time to watch it I will be honored. Great piece today Nigel and an excellent history lesson as well. Just wonderfully written. Big hugs and love from both of us. ❤️🙏❤️

      1. Yea! I am having chamomile, and ginger tea with honey right now. It is making me sleepy. Maybe you can get a nap in. haha Not you – you get up at 2:00 – write some brilliant work – workout at 5:00 and then off to work. I could do that when I was in my 40’s too, and did in fact, minus the writing. Have a great evening my friend. Can’t wait to see the next Eliza, she is one of my favorite characters and Scotts. We are trying to be patient after all you are working so hard to try and promote my book. We use to read Ann Rice’s books to each other and this may even be better I think, honestly. You should write a play. I was talking to Lisa about you and Mike and she said that inktip is the place to go to submit plays or treatments perhaps, which is your idea. Big hugs our friend – have that cuppa

      2. Yea!!!! We are already excited. Yea, inktip or ink tip compliments of Lisa for you and Mike. Have a great evening my friend. ❤️

    1. Thank you Cindy and I finally answered your beautiful comment on Mike’s lovely feature too. I appreciate you watching the interview, it was truly her that made it work, because I was nervous and she just talked to me for a few minutes, and I forgot that I was being interviewed, instead it was like having tea with a dear friend. Her and Susi Bocks have that same interview style. They are both such wonderful people. I love them both.

    1. Thank you Carol anne I am so glad you liked it. Lisa is a very good interview and makes you very comfortable. So it was pretty easy to talk to her although I did get a bit emotional once. Thank you so much for listening Carol that was very kind of you. Great big hugs, Joni
