“Lady of Strength” Now On MasticadoresIndia

“God’s Angel Riding Heavenly Chariot” Via Pinterest – No Artist Listed – Poem by Joni

the glimmer of hope

hiding in the reflection

of earth’s regal eyes

the last petal of a floret

hangs heroic in cold wind

the star that visits dipped

in chocolate sings to me

the lady, of perpetual strength

    1. What a gracious compliment Francis. I do so appreciate you reading me on MasticadoresIndia. It means a lot to me. I am behind in WordPress and I just read the lovely piece that ( http://www.dawnpisturio.wordpress.com )- Dawn wrote about your beautiful work. She also included your link on The Edge of Humanity. What a lovely piece on there as well. Our love to you two as well!

    1. Thank you so much Tim for everything! I appreciate your kind words so much. I hope that you two are ready and excited to enjoy the holidays. We do a pretty relaxed thing here. Sending big hugs to you my friend, Joni

      1. Thanks, Joni. Plans for family get-togethers over the holiday, with our three kids and six grandchildren. Hope you and yours have a merry Christmas and happy New Year.

  1. I read this poem on Terveen’s page first and thought the picture was a great match. Now I read this post, the image you chose is just powerful. A great read! 💚

    1. Thank you Cassa, you are a sweetheart. I appreciate so much that you read me on MasticadoresIndia. I am glad you liked both images. I don’t know how you full time workers ever manage to do all that you do. My hat is off to you too my friend. By the way I love your new profile picture, stunningly gorgeous!

    1. You are so kind my friend. What a wonderful and gracious thing to say. I love your writing as well and I love you right back. Blessings to you and hoping that all is well and that you and yours will manage to be together for the holidays. Sending my prayers as well! ❤️🥰

      1. Beautiful thoughts and well-wishes from a beautiful woman; I would expect nothing less. I wish the same for you and yours. Many blessings, Joni; much love and joy this Christmas and throughout the New Year. 💕💫

    1. I think of you climbing up the mountain against the wind and the terrain in your first amazing book, “Yellow Door,” I know you have felt that feeling. Hope to catch up soon, sending you my love, Joni

      1. Absolutely in fact it is a joy to see this tonight. This morning at breakfast we were talking about thinking of your book. Also my husband said, “She is a writer that chooses her words carefully.” He also said that you reminded him of me an old soul. I took that as a complement. So my pleasure and you are so welcome. Blessings for the holidays and your family. 🦋
