★★★★★ Don’t Miss This Raw and Comprehensive Story From Someone Who Gives Fellow Survivors Hope and Joy
The author, Maggie Watson, is an abuse survivor, and her book, “Wildflower,” is an inspirational, poetic journey of a lionheart who has broken the binds that held her spirit, and is now free.
The pace of this journey is set in the book’s foreword with the poem below:
FORWARD
You Spill Your Words Onto The Page and Pray That They Don’t Resonate.
Yet, in your heart, you know that won’t be the case.
Society is screwed.
The decay within some humans seems ever present.
A plague waiting to mutate.
Passed down through generations of unhealed trauma.
You spill your words onto the page
while you give thanks that your body is not lying on a slab, being dissected
by a coroner.
You write your words, and you know,
somewhere out there, a poor soul is living with someone who enjoys playing
with knives.
And then, instead, tears spill onto the page.
Until you learn to disconnect.
Because thinking about it too much
reminds you of what you escaped.
The author has divided her book into four distinct sections that align with her healing journey. Those sections are: Rocks and Hard Places, A New Path, Dare Greatly, and Unapologetically.

An enormous thank you to Michelle Ayon Navajas, who was more than happy to put the review in both magazines. She was thrilled, as always, to give courageous women exposure. I think we are all grateful for her continued encouragement and support in telling our stories.
Pro Tip (I always wanted to use one): Maggie Watson also posted my review on her site. Thank you, Maggie!
May everyone have the most amazing week with family, friends, and our loving community.

So strange Nigel. We were talking a lot about you yesterday. It is always a joy to hear from you. I hope you get some time off for Holy week so you can have some time with the family. You work so hard. I have no doubt you will be blessed because of your extremely hard work ethic. You and Mich both work every chance you get and can’t possibly get any sleep. Sending you our love always Nigel. I get to do some catching up this week now and I am excited to catch up to where you are in your story. An especially big hug coming your way from me, Nigel. I always wanted a brother when I was growing up.
Awwww… happy to be a little brother, lol.
I play the part quite well, btw.

Thank you so much Timothy for reading. Everything she wrote resonated with me and she was so brave to write it. I am glad you enjoyed it. By the way you have a very nice looking family, Tim. Blessings this Holy week. I wondered if you were close enough to your brother for you and your wife to attend his church. I prefer small churches, that looked like a nice one. Happy Easter to you and your loved ones, Timothy.
You’re very welcome, Joni. 😍 We did go to his church a few times. Have a blessed Easter. 💖🙏
You too, Timothy. 🙏❤️
Thank you so much Timothy !
I was offline in Easter, Joni. But I hope you had a beautiful one. <3
Hello dearest Anna. I tried to stay off line all together as well. I guess I really feel that there is so much time on line sometimes that it is difficult to find time to do so many things that we all need to do, like taking time to reach out to one another. We took a long walk and believe me, God brought you to mind and I thought about your entire family. I am grateful to have you in my life Anna, even though you don’t hear from me often does not reflect either the wisdom or the appreciation for both your gifts to family and society but your friendship. I love you and yes we did, I hope your Easter was also blessed. Love you sweet Anna.
