Sadness Moans 

shooting pain lurches like a stranger in the blackest night

where monsters live releasing their copies, swarming past, out of sight

jealousy walks on rugged stones stealing from the gifted

holding hands of small cactus plants until the desert sands are shifted

behind their peering eyes a Judas runs to throw a stone

whiffs of his betrayal, climbing to the top of the field, I hear his moan

      3. It is a lovely Friday here in South Florida, very, very hot! Gul went swimming yesterday, so she’s satisfied, probably she will tomorrow as well, thank you Joni, hoping you are back to 100% real soon! Love and hugs to you both!

  5. Each piece stirred the heart. Some with joy and some with discomfort. That’s what I love about your writing, Joni. You are fearless and so daring with your words. That’s the only way that their essence can be revealed and hence appreciated. Bravo! 🙂

  9. Your words of pain are sharp, deep cuttings that can be felt within your every phrase. You have exposed,, shamed and drained pain down to the soul. The best that pain can do now, is to release healing energy. Blessings and love always. )))💗(((

    1. Wow, it is hard to know what to say when someone reads that many poems and then writes such a comprehensive and beautiful comment about what you are trying to say.
