The cliffs of moher

Poem by Joni Caggiano on September 23, 2021 – Photo by Pixabay on Pexels.com

leaves of many colors mingle to disperse
a steaming bowl of porridge to feed the craving earth
rain turns directions, as limestone clenches sea flowers
our love flying with the peregrine falcons by the cliffs of moher
using night writing, molds of movement, on the blanket we once did share

      1. Your so sweet. How about I give you my promise to stay sane. We are living in crazy times my friend and we all know it we are just sick of hearing about it. I follow an amazing nurse and we all need to be thankful for the Doctors and nurses because they are really taking a lot of hard knocks right now. Thank you Tim and I will. xoxoxox Joni

      2. It’s pretty crazy, but I think we can keep our head screwed on straight. My son is a firefighter and he’s doing okay. If he can do it, so can we. 🙂

      3. Wow I was just talking about firefighters and what amazing heros they are. You must be so proud I know I would be. Please tell him thanks for us. That is amazing. Bless his heart. That takes real courage. I am really afraid of fire. Xoxoxo 🤗❤️💕🦋

    1. You are such a sweetheart and what poet doesn’t love it when someone says something so sweet about your work. You made my afternoon. Thank you for reading and your kind support. Sending love, you and your family please be safe. 🤗❤️🦋

    1. Thank you Tim. I loved this photo and Pexels didn’t have the name of the photographer on the picture. I always make sure to remember to follow them and would never not include their names. My poems always have the photographers name under the photo. I just can’t afford to pay for my photography. I wish I could, it would be a way of giving back to the community. Hugs you two. Have a wild but safe weekend. Love ❤️ Joni

    1. Great question my friend. The body of a falcon is slim and eagle has a really wide chest. Falcons have very long and pointed wings. The eagle has broad and more rounded wings. Also a real interesting fact, the falcon is the fasted animal that exist. The peregrine falcon can fly up to 240 miles per hour. Fascinating birds and they can be found within the cliffs of moher. Sending love ❤️ Joni 🤗❤️💕

      1. Wow, thank you for sharing this. Probably they are the biggest bird in the world. LOL. I have to look it up in google, but I tend to be lazy during the weekend. All the loves and hugs for you. For some reason, my WP browser refuses to let me do little heart icons or any icons at all. Sending many hearts and many smiles to you.

      2. Hello my friend. You sweet comment ended up in the wrong file, don’t ask me how this happens as I still don’t understand. You are most welcome for the information, I thought it was interesting too. Many of us use our phones and go to the reader and then you can use all the hearts and hug emojis you want too. You are such a sweet heart. Hugs and love my friend and hope you have an amazing weekend. Joni
