Exciting News, Yours Truly Nominated For Spillwords Poetic Publication Of The Year!

To see the original post on my site, please go to Love Me Like A Luna.

Photos by Joni using Olympus E-520 Digital SLR. Rare photos captured in different years of Luna Moths mating on our porch. We have been so blessed to see this incredible act of nature. The female has no mouth and can live for around three days. Her only purpose is to mate for 24 hours and to lay her fertilized eggs in the dirt. She then dies. It is quite a sad story but her beauty and size are the most significant of all the moths.

      1. Of course!
It has been so long since I last talked to you. I changed my blog’s name from bulbul’s bubble to bookish bubble and changed everything inside it in the last few months. I would love to know your thoughts on the new thing. ❀️✌️🀞😊
        Love Bulbul

      2. Oh, dearest Bubble, I will definitely do so. You were the first one who ever suggested I submit something for publication. You were gone for a long time and then I think you got married. Yea!!! So glad you are back. Give me till Wednesday to get back to you with a comprehensive answer about what I think. I have several things I am behind on, and I don’t want to rush on this. You were so wonderful to me. Now I am up for Poetic Publication of the Year on Spillwords, Love me Like a Luna, with all kinds of talented folks. See what your encouragement did. Also, I write for Terveen on MasticadoresIndia, who loves a great story – wink wink! I also write for MasticadoresUSA who is also accepting submissions right now. You were a kind hand and a supportive ear when I first needed one and was just getting started writing again. You are such a kind woman Bulbul. Blessings to you my dear friend. Love you bunches, Joni

      3. Thank You so much. joni. And I am so so happy for all your new feats. It was all your hard work and motivation dear friend. You are an inspiration. Stay strong and blessed. Much love.

      4. Bubble, thank you for all your kind words; you never know when you are the person who gave another such a great gift. You encouraged me on Finest Example, and I submitted it, which was published. I thought I could jump to the moon after that. I took a look at your website, and it looks fascinating. Is it kind of like a Wikipedia-type post? You take something you feel strongly about, and others are allowed to write more about the subject. Is that what you are proposing? It sounds very intriguing. Looking forward to hearing more. I think you need to do something to let people know you are back. Perhaps you should publish something in MasticadoresIndia, MasticadoresUSA, or GOBBLERSmasticadores. These editors are lovely to work with; you could include your info in your bio. You had such a large following, and many people have come and gone. Sending you big hugs, and don’t hesitate to email me anytime. So glad all is well with you, that makes me smile. Big hugs and love, Joni

      5. You are far too kind, dear! I am so happy that things worked out for you and were bound to, especially with the kind of talent you have.
Thank you for visiting. And no, not really, that isn’t what I had in mind. I wanted to have a book reviewing website along with an e zine which celebrates unheard voices. Including some writing challenges and stuff.
That is a good idea, I will think about it. Of course! Thank you for your immense support, dear. I am extremely grateful for it.

      7. I am glad Ken. I need to start going back to the gym. Running must feel so good. I think your physical workouts can do wonders both for our body, cardiovascular health, but I just feel like I look better. My husband does twenty pull ups and 40 push-up. He uses perfect form too. 1. Thank you, Cindy, that is a very kind thing for you to say. I feel the same way many of these people have been writing steadily for many years, and I am just grateful for the hard job Dagmara, and her wonderful staff do and for being published in their exquisite magazine makes me feel wonderful. I, too am proud to be along with every one of the writers this year. Some incredibly wonderful writers. May we all be blessed by the nomination and I know I am very grateful to be nominated and voted the winner of the month in November 2022 for publication of the month. As you said, Cindy, it is an honor to be along with all the other poets including you. Blessings and love, Joni

      1. You are so welcome Joni, it’s so true! Your work stands alone and each writer has their incredible gifts and talent that continues to blow me away in admiration. Yes, poor Dagmar and the team, always has to deal with me and my technical difficulties as does Barbara at MastecadoresUsa. I’m grateful to them as We are so blessed beyond measure and lucky to stand together with so many incredible gifted writers. Love and Blessings to you as well Joni! πŸ’—πŸ’ž

      2. She as worked hard and built a great magazine and I think I can say that you felt that amazing feeling when you were posted on Spillwords the first time. I was running around the house like a crazy person. Now we are on another great magazine together and still running around like crazy people. It is like getting something that was all your idea and then you find out they like it and it makes you feel like they are these amazing genies in a bottle or something. These editors love their jobs or they couldn’t do it. It is such a tremendous amount of work. There is no such thing as time off. They are always doing something. What a blessing they all are. Barbara and Terveen know that there are bugs and issues and they are both very gracious and kind. We are so blessed. Sending you lots of love and hugs. Have a great day at work! Love Joni

      3. Indeed they have and it is a blessing to support and be supported in our writing endeavors and passion! I’m most grateful as well! I remember that too Joni! It’s a gift to know you and be in community together! Thanks and you have a wonderful day as well!❀️

    1. You are very kind, Henrietta. I talked to someone the other night who thought I should accept that my work must be good enough to belong with such great talent and that it is God’s way of blessings me as I try to always find a way to give God the Glory. I don’t want to misquote him, but he was very kind. He understood that I didn’t deserve the gift of being nominated. God blesses us all the time. I had a little procedure done today, and I know he was with me and all was well. Sending you my love, hugs, gratitude for reading and the love and positivity you spread in your blog Henrietta. Have you stopped writing on WP? Sending my love, please be safe, love you, Joni

My husband loves me with super short hair, he always has, and I am finding I don’t have time to mess with it. Thank you, my friend. Big hugs, Joni
