Nature’s Passion

Photography by Joni Caggiano and Poem by Joni Caggiano

fireflies sing to me of your passion
Your tenderness like veins of sunlight
solitary cricket plays nature’s gratifying cello
big browns now vehemently on my young fellow

life is a gift, as is the love you impart
my body now rides a sunbeam of ardor
starlings whistle as you write upon my breast
craving a release, I move your hand to my wet nest
