Isabella was having a difficult time breathing. Every inch of her was crying silently, releasing her anger on the gas pedal. She restrained herself by pumping the breaks so her husband, Liam, whom she was tailing, would not see her red Tesla.
Isabella was a striking woman who loved her husband of twenty years. She knew it would be difficult marrying a doctor. He would always have access to beautiful young nurses and interns. Somebody was satisfying Liam’s zealous craving for sex, that much she knew.
The thought of another woman touching Liam’s body made her crazy. Isabella had tried her best to seduce him using expensive lingerie and toys. She knew every way imaginable to excite him after twenty years. Yet nothing was working.
She slowed down, opened a window, and let the cool fall air settle her. Isabella had always bought elaborate decorations and spent hours designing their Halloween party. There was always a lot of merriment in the community for their annual Halloween festivities. This was unlikely to be another jovial Halloween.

Thank you Tim for reading my story. I really appreciate it. Yes, I would say that was so rough justice indeed. Blessings and big hugs, Joni ❤️🦋

😊💐💖🥀
Great story, Joni. Hope you have a fun Halloween. 🙂
Thank you so much Tim for reading my story. I really appreciate it and your kind comment. No little ones at the door at all this year. Big hugs my friend.
We only had six kids come by. A lot of us older folks in the neighborhood. Blessings to you and yours.
That is funny. Same thing here – sometimes the older ones of us get together and just hang out in chairs and give out candy. This was really quiet. It is not like it was when we were trick or treating Tim. People just let their kids go because you didn’t have worry about them. We would eat candy for a month when we lived on base because our parents would let us go – and there were endless rows of houses. That was a great memory. Have a blessed weekend Tim, big hugs, Joni ❤️
Happy Halloween!

Thank you so much Cindy I really appreciate your support too. I have Terveen to think as she has encouraged me and been a wonderful support person. Thank you sweetie. Sending my love to you and your family. ❤️🦋🤗🎉🌹
You’re so welcome Joni. I’ll head there later. It’s awesome you have that great support. she is gifted as well. You’re sooo welcome and love to you and yours💞
You are right Terveen is both supportive and gifted. I don’t take her support for granted either. I remember the days when I knew no one in the industry. I am grateful for every mentor and kind follower. Some day I think she will be a full time movie director and film person. Cindy that you sweetie, happy that your family and ours is healthy and doing well. Have a wonderful rest of the week. Love Joni
What a wicked tale you have woven!
I agree my wise friend. Talk about two vengeful women. I can’t imagine being buried alive. I would die from fright right away, they wouldn’t have to bother digging me up. Kind of a different halloween story. I am afraid of people behind masks. Thank you so much for reading, sending big hugs and appreciation. Joni
You’re always welcome. Like you, I couldn’t handle it. <3
❤️🦋🤗🌹
Great story, Joni!
Dawn thank you so much for your kind comment. I truly appreciate your kindness. Hope you have a really nice rest of your week. Hugs, Joni
It’s a surprise ending. I didn’t expect that. I thought there would be a divorce or something… Well, we don’t need the Halloween ghost since we have many ghosts in our own life…
So true my friend. I appreciate you reading thank you. Have a blessed rest of your week. Big hugs, Joni
Very well written short story Joni 💕🌸
Dearest Henrietta I appreciate your words so much. Thank you for taking the time to read this longer piece. I know how precious our time is and so thank you truly. Big hugs and love coming your way. xoxoxoxo Joni
Thank you so very much, I so appreciate your reading. Blessings my friend. Love, Joni
Bravo! Now that was a Halloween story! Any woman could sympathize w/ Isabella, though few would actually go so far. :))))
Thank you so much Anna. I am glad you liked the story, thank you so much for reading. Just another reason to dislike guns. If people had a chance to cool off perhaps if they didn’t just have a gun so handy there would be a lot less dead. Sending you prayers this Sabbath for you precious family. Love you Anna ❤️
Enjoyed the story. Wonderful craftsmanship here.
Thank you Kritika so much for reading me and for the very kind complement. Hope you Sunday is full of love. Big hugs, Joni
