Hello and good morning to this beautiful community. To those of you who know me, you also know I like to sing a little. I follow some real artists, singers, songwriters, and folks who have and still do this professionally.  A little while ago, I posted a song called “Honey Bee,” I wrote and sung to you all for fun, and I got some kind feedback. So hope you enjoy this one as much as I did on Tuesday morning.

This little song was obviously not done in a studio, but the acoustics in my bathroom aren’t too bad.  I use basic voice memo on my MacBook and just the computer’s microphone. So remember, this is for the young girl who wanted to sing blues in a nightclub draped over a grand piano.

  1. Wow this is the first time I heard you sing Joni..You have a strong, clear, on pitch, timeless voice.. You could be singing from any era. It takes a lot of poise and voice control to sing a cappella… and you did it so easily, as if you were sitting on the front porch.singing to the crickets.. I loved it and admire how you just let loose and made your ditty totally yours:)🤗❤️🌟

    1. Oh thank you Karima. You are such a sweetheart. Thank you very much for your beautiful comment about my voice. I truly just do it for fun. Our voices change or at least mine has partially from not getting used as much and also as I get older, but I still like to sing. Considering your expertise in what you do it is a big compliment as you spend so much time to put forth every post.     1. Thank you how very kind of you to comment. It really is just for fun. By the way your story writing is really excellent. I am a poet but I know a great story when I read one. I don’t know if you are interested in publishing your work (a shorter story) but MasticadoresIndia, editor is Terveen Gill, they published only in English. She loves a great story. You may want to submit a story there and see what happens. I can’t promise anything of course but at least check her site out. MasticadoresUSA is also a site that publishes English only, although she publishes mostly poetry. They have an audience of over 700,000. It is a great on-line magazine. Good luck.       1. Yes..i do follow her on here and social media. I will submit something to Terveen soon. Just gotta find the time. I have several projects I’m working on, and sometimes, my day job just owns ALL of me. But I’ll hit her up soon with something.

    1. You are very kind Terveen. I don’t have the voice I once did. Occasionally I write a song about my husband, and he does have very green eyes. I talked him in to being my model. I don’t think I could have ever handled that lifestyle. You have to have lots of energy and there are so many amazing musicians today. I follow some very talented musicians on line.   14. Love you too! Maybe someday I will get the courage to do it. I feel like I am Patsy Cline when I sing it. I have never sung in front of anyone until last year. Shirl talked me into it, and people clapped, of course, it was at Karaoke in our park, so it was friendly. I am trying to get my podcasts together. Too bad, we don’t have enough to keep us busy. LOL ❤👀❤❤😍

Yes there was a time when I worked as a nurse part time close to home so I could see my daughter when she got off of school and another job at a restaurant and I did a little singing with the band. I don’t have the voice for it anymore. So I do it for fun. Hope things are going well for you. Your work looks great and you are working with so many different varieties of paint and style.     1. That is hilariously funny Anna. My voice isn’t what it use to be. Anna I hope you know you are in our prayers, I have asked others to pray as well. God work’s miracles everyday. I am one of them. We have this 91 year old woman that goes to our church. She jumps around like a teenagers. When she was baptized in the Jordan River many years ago she had no more pain. She recently was diagnosed with breast cancer said she would pray about it. Now the doctors say she is fine. No treatment. I am praying for a miracle. I love you sweet Anna. I won’t give up, she is such a fighter. God bless you all. You are in my heart. 🤗❤️🌹🌹🌹
