Thank you for sharing, Joni. Great read.
Hope you are well beautiful Button. I am patiently awaiting the arrival of your book. I hope it is flying off the shelf! I notice a poem you wrote in 2019 “Lovers without Love” is back as the top featured poem on Spillwords which is wonderful. I thought this write up was very interesting from many perspectives. I am glad you enjoyed it too. Have a blessed evening Button and hope you are doing well. I am guessing that you are overwhelmed with the book release and your students right now. Hope you are getting rest, we all have to take extra good care of ourselves. Love and hugs Button J (honeybun)
Thank you my beautiful honeybun. The book is doing pretty well today. You made me look at the ranks 🙂 Anyway, I do not know more until a report from the publisher comes. I am very grateful to you and all my other followers who bought the book, shared the news on their sites, etc. This is a very lovely and supportive community.
” “Lovers without Love” is back as the top featured poem on Spillwords” Really? I did not know that. Thank you for letting me know. More overwhelmed with my students 🙂
Take good care of you and enjoy every bit of this evening.
Thanks sweet Button. You are welcome. Glad the book is doing well, expected that it would. Your writing is so beautiful. You take care Button. Love, hugs and good evening as well to you. (Honeybun)
Thank you sweetheart.
Humans have tried to control sickness/illness ever since the first person became “sick”, and this pandemic only shows the cyclical nature of illness in all of God’s creatures. People THINK that they/we are in control, but when we come across something we don’t understand, history shows we almost always act out of fear. In this case, fear causes us to act in ways that might have been necessary, but the fact that this virus has dominated the news and people’s minds for so long shows how scared we really are, even if it is something that will not be remembered for its death toll, it will be remembered for our reaction to it.
Always good to get a good historical perspective, thanks for sharing this awesome read!
Thank you so much for reading this awesome author’s work. This was a great historical account of how the variety of plagues and illnesses ravished the world of millions of people so long ago. You are right, we are not in control and it is frightening. It will be interesting to see how history writes about COVID-19 as the writer mentioned. As always, thank you for reading and commenting SB. Have a truly blessed and safe day. Love Joni
Yes, what we’re experiencing is not new–and certainly no surprise to God. Looking to Him, to catch the message, lessons–and find greater purpose–is a worthy focus in the anxious, chaotic season…my opinion <3
Amen sister. Love 💕 Joni
Love to you!💕
