Humans have tried to control sickness/illness ever since the first person became “sick”, and this pandemic only shows the cyclical nature of illness in all of God’s creatures. People THINK that they/we are in control, but when we come across something we don’t understand, history shows we almost always act out of fear. In this case, fear causes us to act in ways that might have been necessary, but the fact that this virus has dominated the news and people’s minds for so long shows how scared we really are, even if it is something that will not be remembered for its death toll, it will be remembered for our reaction to it.
