I was actually surprised that you had not heard of hush puppies. They are corn meal with onion, jalapeño and garlic and deep fat fried. Yes the southern cuisine is something else. Sometimes I miss it. My mom was a wonderful cook and always made cake from scratch, I’m guessing your mom did the same thing Nigel. ❤️❤️
We have something similar at home. And now I have asked my friend to make me some lol
