The Wanderer Live On MasticadoresIndia

deadly this script
intuit of rapture
caresses senses
my lover, buds
sprout from pores
you touch me like
strings on a violin
ardent hunger throbs
climbing the peak
we meet yet again
like feeding pigeons
my spirit, my heart
once again torn apart

Happy Saturday, my fellow WordPress, Twitter, and Instagram followers.  Know that you all do make a difference in my life.  I appreciate you all and sending out love and prayers for blessings for everyone.

Seeing many prayers going up to heaven for all the earthquake victims, survivors, and rescuers coming in from many countries to help.  Miracles still happen where a woman was pulled out of the rubble after 110 hours!  God hears prayers, so grateful for his mercy.

      1. Oh, I am so glad to hear it. I was reading an older post, obviously. Be careful; my husband used to ride a bike to work when we lived outside of Seattle, and he road for eleven miles and had a bad crash and was bleeding and stunned, and people were actually walking over him. When he got home and told me the story, I prayed daily for his safety. People used to get so close to runners too. I hope you wear reflective gear. I think that is so important. I have many mentors on WordPress. Terveen has been helping me a lot in the world of storytelling. She is an excellent short fiction writer. Thank you for your kind words. They mean a lot to me. Your post was terrific, Nigel on MasticadoresIndia. Obviously, it got me fired up, which means you did an excellent job. Big hugs and blessings, my friend. Joni

      2. Sweet Jesus… I’m glad hubby is okay. I have drivers who always try some nonsense to endanger me. But yeah, I’m lit up like a Christmas tree every morning. Worst experience was the guy who ran a red light because he was watching Stranger Things on his phone. I saw him coming though. But I am hyper vigilant

      3. I always get half way on the other side of the road if no one is coming. It takes nothing to be kind and cautious when someone is walking/running/ or riding a bike.

Please be careful Nigel. Also great that you are lit up. I have watched cars act like they almost get on the edge of the road when there are runners and walkers. Those have to be some very angry people who have very sad lives. Stay safe my friend. 🦋

    1. Thank you so much, Terveen. I appreciate your kindness and mentorship and have the utmost respect for you. I read your peeping tom story last night, and I realized how far I have yet to go with learning how to write a compelling and very engaging “short” story!

    1. Tim I am so glad you liked it or it moved you in some way. It is about the first man that broke my heart in two. Blessings and thank you always for your kindness Tim. Hugs 🤗 my dear friend, Joni

    1. Thank you Cindy. I truly appreciate your reading and your kind response. It does mean a lot to me. It is about my first love. We all have one, right? It can be a devastating experience. For me, he kept me sane while living at home, and he was the first person who showed me tenderness. I just stopped dreaming about him a year ago. I wanted some kind of closure with him – I thought it would always be a good conversation and a warm hug. Before I had a chance to see him when we moved to NC, he fell down the stairs and broke his neck. It broke my heart literally. Sending big hugs and lots of love your way my friend. Love ya!

    1. Thank you, Dawn. That piece is about my first love. I am so glad you like it. How many people were shattered by the first person they ever loved? It was one of the hardest things that ever happened to me because I lived in such a crazy environment, and he was my safe place. He left me for an older girl with a brand-new yellow Volkswagen convertible. I saw them every day parked in front of the car I went to school in, and he was always laughing and had his hands all over her. I wasn’t ready to give my virginity away, and she was more than happy to do whatever it took to snag him. Thank you for reading, Dawn, I really appreciate it. Big hugs, and have a blessed weekend.

  1. Always a big congrats to your many ongoing successes, and also to this beautiful composition with outgoing sentiment! 👍👍💫💓

    1. Oh, thank you so much. I always feel special when you read my work. I know how crazy busy you all are, and I haven’t been on WP as often. Working on an exciting potential project and also on Twitter a lot. Thank you so much. Sending you big blessings and some warm homemade coffee cake in a beautiful basket made from silkworms that live in our beautiful backyard. The fireflies will follow the fairies to your home, so be sure to keep your window open on Sunday morning, and there will, of course, be fresh press coffee there too. They can always comfort you when something sad happens, like a first love dumping you. Then you can fall in love with your husband of 27 years. YEA!!!!! hugs, Joni

      1. Hahaha! That’s a mouthful of love with blessings and a loose wrapping of a Valentine’s flair. I am envisioning a childhood romance revisited with a reality of choice and devotion. Life happens within a test of time. I hope you Valentine day was super fabulous. And for more sweetness, I am sending you coffee and pastries to comfort your morning, backyard jacuzzi meditation soak. ☕️☕️💓🛀🥮🥐

      2. It was a great day, although nothing fancy, just great coffee and great treats delivered by one of my AOC friends out by the jacuzzi. Have a blessed week my friend. Big hugs and sending some big hugs while smelling some fresh coffee.

      3. Your projects sound like great fun with lots of coffee, publishers and writing writing friends. Way to go Joni, 👍👍especially at the start of the new year. Wishing you momentum and great successes. Love ya! ❤️💫☕️☕️

    1. Oh, how kind Tiffany. I sure appreciate you reading me on MasticadoresIndia and your thoughtful comment. Sending big blessings, many hugs and my love. You have been working quite a bit, so I assume things finally slowed down at work, and you have time to do your artwork. 🌹 YEA!! Time to get a new sketch pad.

    1. Dearest Mich, thank you so much for reading my piece on MasticadoresIndia. Sorry for the late response; as you have probably heard we are trying to get ready to move after 17 years in our home. Sending you big blessings and appreciation always, Joni

      1. Oh thank you Mich, you are very gracious and we can certainly use the prayers in that we will not have a house picked out to live in when we move. We have tried to do that but you just have to see the house on your own. Thank you so much dear Mich, sending you my love, hugs and prayers too. ❤️
