tenderly touch me for I was once raw
singing floral notes softly from a flush sky
never leaving your shadow, you are my shelter
my guardian, my shield who wisely can hum away pain

      1. Thanks very much Joni, hope you do too! πŸ€žπŸ™πŸ˜ I actually have a 4 mile race this coming Sunday. It’s a memorial run for that young girl I wrote about a couple of months back who was killed while out running in my local town.

If we, as poets who feel so deeply can’t see ourselves as a United team wanting all branches of the magazine to be successful then who could. We want everyone to be celebrated. Yea!!!
