Ukrainian Valor – My new ameri-Ku

Picture taken from a property built in the 1900’s and owned by Mark and Kristian Frank – Photo taken by Joni and Ameri-Ku written by ©Joni Caggiano on 3/22/22

Rivers of blood leach unfamiliar lands, prayers soaring
brother fights for brother and homeland,

tears shedding, hearts breaking as we gaze upon the dead
dictatorship tearing innocence, killing thousands,

Americans display a flag, a sign of loss, love, and freedom
Ukrainians, we pray you will overcome and be liberated
Russia will lose, and Ukraine’s valor will be celebrated

  1. Joni your words are coming from your beautiful heart and I know inspired by your faith. We, all of us who believe in love and in building our earth and not in distraction, can only feel the pain that Putin’s murderous acts have caused to the innocent Ukrainian people. Lovely work and a beautiful photograph! Our love to you both!

It’s an awful sad situation Joni seeing whole families and little kids uprooted completely from their homes as a result of this needless war. 🙁😢 You’re welcome. 😁You’ll be happy to know that I have a new spoken word gig coming up. I’ll send you a link to my latest update. 😁

      2. jonicaggiano says:

Please do that is wonderful Ken. You will do great too. The Ukrainian people have been embraced by the Polish people. Still they have lost everything. It is enough to pull your heart strings. I wonder if I had a small one bedroom apartment would I open up my house to eight people. That is how amazing the kindness has been. We can pray now hopefully what ever religion people are they are thinking and lifting up all those dying and suffering. Blessings to you my friend. Stay safe. Love ❤️ Joni

I ask myself the same question Joni. 👍 Would I be as willing to open up our house to some refugees?

      4. jonicaggiano says:

I would like to think I would. ❤️🤗🙏

It is such a sad situation Joni. A madman trapped in the past wants glory and in the process, is prepared to burn it all down. Putin must be stopped before the next and the next and the next. Stay well and pray for Ukraine. Allan

    1. jonicaggiano says:

Thank you for reading Allan. I agree he must be stopped. We are praying hard for the Ukrainian people and all those affected by these war crimes. Sending you and your sweetheart blessings. ❤️🤗

  4. I think we can all relate to this, such a sadness comes over me and helplessness as well. Beautiful photo Joni. Take care sweet lady ❤️🌷🌸🤗

Thank you sweetie. I know what you mean. I too have been sad and also feeling helpless. The Polish people have been incredible many families with so little are taking in large numbers of people. Your on- line protest was a great idea and made a statement to the community. You take care too Holly. Sending you my love. ❤️🦋🌻🤗

You are a kind sister indeed my friend. I am so glad that you do visit, you also enjoy your weekend. Sending you much love and your family. I wanted to let you know on April 7th I will be having a Radio Frequency Cervical Oblation again, either on the left side or both at the same time. It was such a blessing for me last time. It gave me six months of feeling relatively normal. I wish there was something like this you could have done. Know that I am praying for you. God’s Grace is enough but it is nice not to have chronic pain. Sending you an abundance of love and prayers. If you remember perhaps you could say a prayer for me on April 7th. At least this time I will have an IV and be sedated, it was so painful without sedation the first time it seemed like torture. Big Hugs xoxoxoxoxo

  10. I keep seeing these children. Who can do such a thing? There is something missing from any human who can.

    1. jonicaggiano says:

It is so very heartbreaking. The spirit of good intentions from a loving and compassionate heart can spread seeds that influences others. I pray those people with God’s blessings will prevail and that this will end soon. I am so touched by how many countries around the world are offering their homes to the hurting and displaced.

I agree with you how does any one hurt a little one. So true my wise friend. Sending hugs. ❤️🤗❤️🤗 Joni

      1. I am lifted by the people reaching out. We did what we could. But I feel so helpless in the larger scheme of things.

      2. jonicaggiano says:

There is only so much we can do but prayer is the most powerful blessing of all my friend. Big hugs 🤗

  11. HensBlooms says:
