My appreciation for all types of art led me to Francisco Bravo Cabrera’s WordPress site. My husband and I studied his unique skill, after which we felt even more admiration. Much of our attention and respect for his work came from his use of religious symbolism.
Francisco is a talented musician, fantastic poet, as well as being an incredible painter. After discussing what was important to us – we decided on an art piece that incorporated our religious beliefs.
His representative spent a great deal of time talking to us about what we envisioned. All initial inquiries go through Guloshka, who is highly knowledgeable about Francisco’s process and the world of art. We spoke briefly with Francisco as well. Francisco is an internationally known and admired artist. He sells his paintings all over the world. When we received a beautiful photograph of the piece, we were astounded at how perfectly it fit what we imagined. The three faces represent the Holy Trinity. The large fish in the center was representative of the first four disciples who would become fishers of men. They fished in the Sea of Galilee. The multi-colored fish represents all the different cultures of humanity. The upside-down cross represents the disciple Peter and his death. Peter requested to be crucified differently than Jesus. He did not feel worthy to die the same way. The high red spot in the piece could symbolize Golgotha, the hill where Jesus was crucified. Two beautiful dancers symbolize the movement and music of life.
We also received an original Authentication Letter with Francisco’s signature. A painting like this becomes a beautiful addition to your home and makes a profound statement. We have never had artwork commissioned before, but this painting has an exceptional place in our hearts.

I can tell you understand how personal a piece of art can be. It means so much to us. Hi my sweet friend, I think my heart leaps in my chest every time I hear from you Janette. I miss you. Yes we are certainly thinking that way. We are looking at spending the summer in Carolyn’s smaller house right down the road in Kirkland and that is still the plan. I was just approved for the RFO again. So I will be adding that to my other surgery. I will keep you updated. I was touched by watch you said about our feelings about Francisco’s artwork. We were drawn to it the first time we saw him but Scott was crazy about it too. We just love it. It represents so many of our beliefs. He is a world known painter and we feel so blessed to have been able to get exactly what we wanted. We will indeed see each other soon my dear friend. This summer and we are still looking for homes. I can totally see his work in your California home. You can talk to his representative Gül about colors, symbolism are find one that you already like that is ready for shipment. A person walked in the house the other day and she came through the door and literally stopped and said, Wow! She just stood there unable to move. It really has an impact on people in the states. He is so gifted, he is getting recognized all over the world. It is also an investment but we wanted a commissioned piece. Your house is beautiful and I think you are right.
