lightning striking emotions I can no longer contain

burning my skin with your scathing looks for you have found another

smelling her lilac perfume burns my nose and cuts ridges on my hips

how will your fingers forget the heavenly world you traced on my body

your hands drew life softly in circles, birthing spasms

arousing me with your musky aroma after cutting wood at dusk

    1. You are so cleaver my wise friend. Colleen it is a bit of both. It is symbolic in that it compares how we can take humans for granted just as we have (at least in the US) nature. Perhaps nature is the better place to wait out this worldly life. You are spot on. Colleen please take good care of yourself and just be real careful for a while. Stay safe my friend, I am sending you a basket of hiking pants, snow boots, wool socks and a picnic with all your favorite books and sweets. Enjoy them. Sending my love as always. Love Joni
