skin barren exposing my dense white trunk as I sigh
color falls from me as the cold earth is biting
absent my ample blanket to shelter birds passing by

    1. Good morning Allan I think trees are very special indeed. Thank you so much for reading and your kind comment Allan. It makes me so sad to see them chopping hundreds of old trees down all around where we live. Our little over an acre is covered in trees. The animals are running out of places to go.     1. Thank you Tim. I do love the trees. They were my hiding place, friends and refuge when I was little and scared. They were not many trees that I couldn’t scale quickly. Grateful for your kind comment my friend. You have an amazing and blessed day. Hugs to you and your family Tim. ❤️

    1. I love the way you think Tiffany. Isaiah 55:12 “You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.” I just love this reference in the bible and I believe we will be able to talk to our animals too. I think they like all the activity of summer. Sending you baskets of love and free paints and extra sketch pads because you are doing so much work on them. What a great idea to start carrying that pad around with you and creating whenever you get that creative piece beginning to flow through you.
