looks that peel my painful, prickled skin slowly off my body
stepping on me as if I were a small stone beneath the dirt
barely enough of a bother to remove this insignificant grit
lost in the Atacama desert riding a llama who talks of my fate
there is a storm of grave proportion in Chile’s parched desert
within a purple cloth, I plant my crusted heart like a flower seed
someone deserving may pick me from this blanket of blooms
springing from the impossible, may love pluck my stem tonight
resting, spun in silk, changing as flowers bloom awaiting the light

Thank you Brenda I appreciate it. The desert is a dry spell with being treated badly in my first marriage. The Atacama desert in Chili doesn’t get rain for years and then it will storm and the whole desert blooms into this incredibly beautiful picture of colors. Then there is a storm and I plant my heart hoping someone will come along and choose me among the beautiful flowers. I think you got most of it my friend. Love you Brenda. ❤️🤗🥰

Thank you so much my friend. If you have an extra minute some time look up the desert bloom. This desert only blooms 1 out of every 3 to 5 years. It seldom Rams in the desert but when it does the colors are amazing. The picture the photographer took that I used was so beautiful. If you look it up there are some pictures that don’t look real.
