    1. Thank you Brad. You have been a gracious and wonderfully supportive friend. I am delighted that two of my poems were chosen for publication in this Anthology. I am grateful to Susi Bocks. Thank you so much for that support my friend. Sending lots of love and hugs to you as always. I love the cover that Susi came up with as I think many poets are drawn to the sea. Jonikins xoxoxo

  1. I wish I could, I will probably still be working on my computers. I am re-blogging to give you more people hopefully. Take care and be sure to blog your success. It sound wonderful. Hugs1

    1. Oh don’t worry you can always watch the recording some other time. How frustrating about your computers. Can Apple help? Thank you for the sweet reblog that was very gracious.
I am sorry about your computers I know how crazy I feel when I struggle with any technological problems. I really hope you can get some help. Sending lots of love and a big happy Easter 🐣🐇🐰 ❤️🤗love you, Joni

  2. My sweet friend, you deserve more. I do not have Apple, I have a Dell Optiplex and it is over warranty so they will not help. However, my sun (son) is coming over Sunday and he will work on it. His reward is waffles and home fries, and maybe banana bread.

    1. Oh I am so glad you mentioned that he was coming over and I assumed that already happened. Wow you have had to be extremely patient my friend. You called him sun before. That is so sweet Brenda. I am so grateful he is close enough to visit. How wonderful. Sounds like a good sun helping his mom. Children are such a blessing. I bet he loves helping his talented mom and lets face it the food is so fun. My daughter always wants spaghetti and sweet cornbread. You two have the most lovely Easter together. Love ya 🐣🐣🐇🐰🤗❤️

    2. My friend, I just sent two comments on two different post and they post came back as “there was a problem with this ?” what ever it said. Basically it didn’t take the comment. Is this one of the problems you are having or is it me? Not sure I can respond to comments on my own blog posts. You have me thinking waffles now. Good luck on Sunday with your “Sun” Brenda. Love Joni

  3. Joni, you are so sweet to care so much about me. My hubby and I are so lucky, both of our children are so good to us. Chris, my son spent several hours finding the problem on my computer and it is running great. I sent home Captain America Waffles for him and his friend. He has me making a list of things I need help with, so he can try to help when he is here. I think your prayer did the trick! thanks again. Happy Easter to you.

    1. Hello my dear friend. I don’t know what happened, this comment ended up in the pending folder and it is five days old. I feel really bad when this happens. I also noticed that when I went into comment on a couple of your post yesterday it came back and said there was an issue. Our sides don’t seem to like one another’s. I am so glad that you did get your computer fixed and also very grateful that all is well and the world of waffles. Making me think how good some waffles with fresh strawberries would taste this morning. It sounds like you have a wonderful family. You’re lucky to have your children nearby what a blessing that is. Sending you so much love and glad the prayer helped. I am a strong believer in the power of prayer. Sending you lots of loves and hugs. 🥰💕🤗❤️

    1. I think it went well. You are so thoughtful and loving. If you want to view it sometime I can send you the link. I hope you are hanging in there dearest Anna. I love you Joni

  4. What an awesome venue Joni and subject. There is a relationship of impact of poetry and social justice. What a very empowering collaboration. I hope you are having a treasurable weekend. 🍂🍮🍮🍮🍂 Love you dear Joni!💓💓💓

    1. You are such a treasure you know. Kind, generous and yet crazy busy. Yes it certainly is for sure. Bob Dylan always comes to mind and one of the panelists mentioned Billie Holiday and strange fruit. It was strange because I had been thinking about the impact that song had on me when I was very young and studied about her in a jazz class in college. I sure appreciate you. I haven’t been on line much because we were getting our house ready to show and trying to buy a cabin around Asheville, NC. I think we are going to stay we’re we are. What a ton of work and we honestly don’t think it is something we should be doing anymore. Long story but that is why I haven’t been around much. Hope you are well and enjoying life my friend. Grateful for your friendship. Love ya Joni 🤗❤️💕☕️☕️🍺

    1. It was interesting. I was nervous and fiddled with my hair too much. I wasn’t even aware that I was doing it until I watched the link a few days later. Susi and the host did a great job. There were some interesting exchanges. The host had a way of making everyone feel comfortable in reciting. Thank you for asking Beautiful Button. I am very grateful for being in Susi’s book. Sending lots of love, hugs and blessings your way. Love, honeybun

      1. Oh thank you so much! I really appreciate it Button! It was an honor to be invited. I am very happy for Susi. Thank you for your support, Beautiful Button. Love flying over the airways to land on your shoulders.
        xoxoxo honeybun

    1. Oh thank you for your kindness Button. I did a post on the book and tried to include a lot of info. You are very sweet. I am very shy believe it or not. I was nervous but Lisa did a great job keeping it low key, helping to keep people feeling comfortable. Thank you so much for watching. You are very sweet Button. Sending love and gratitude to you dearest Button. Also sending many hugs your way.
      🤗❤️💕🥰💝

    1. Oh you are so sweet Cindy. When I watched the video I could tell I was nervous because I was playing with my hair, I haven’t done that well since the last time I was very nervous. However, I was told I did ok, so I felt ok about it. I enjoyed myself a lot. Thank you sweet girl, I hope you are having a better day today. I have been reading blogs today, it really takes a lot of time but if I don’t ever get time to read and enjoy all my friends work, what is the point. Love you sweetie

      1. I am sooooo laughing:
“could tell I was nervous because I was playing with my hair, I haven’t done that well since the last time I was very nervous”.
The main this is you had lots of fun!!!!
It takes a lot of time for sure. the never ending balancing act!
        💖💖💖love you too Joni! 💖

  5. nice.. lol and you didn’t seem nervous!
I listened to this very important chat and it was such an important discussion to have with others and sharing of the heart and truth! 💖

    1. Oh you did see it. How kind of you to watch Cindy! That was so kind as it was long too. I am not the cool cucumber you are on line my friend. You have such an ease about being in front of the camera. Thank you for watching, I really liked the panelist. I too, enjoyed the conversation and the host did a wonderful job in making people feel welcomed. Love you Cindy

      1. I went back and was so happy to see it as you have been a huge support of my work too. Thank you so much for your recognition but now it’s time to give you credit where credit is due. I agree, it was a great group of panelists and the host was great. My pleasure lovie! 💖🌷

      2. You are very sweet. Susi is so excited about her upcoming Anthology. I was so grateful to be asked to be there. “The Brilliance of Sound.” If someone would have told me even a year ago
That I would be in an international anthropology, “The Inner Eye,” and Susi Bock’s anthology I wouldn’t have believed it. I am so grateful. This was a definite goal I had but never thought I would be blessed like this so
soon. Anyway please don’t feel any need to answer these texts too. They are responses to your sweet text and I just really felt like talking to a good friend and some one I admire so much and love very much too. Sweet sunshine spirit. ❤️🌞

      3. I’ve been seeing all of the build up and I’m so happy for her. What a gift to all of us and you that you are part of it! sooooo heartfelt and deserving, awww so glad to share in your joy! 💖💖💖💖🌷

      4. I know, thank you, I am so happy for her too. She has surely worked hard. Publishing is a lot of work. Thank you for your sweet heart Cindy. Love you xoxoxoxo
