Featured Photographer Janette Sande

Photograph is actually a sunset taken from Stanwood with the trees and Olympic Mountain Range in the background

My dear friend Janette is a photographer who spends her days in the solitude of the great outdoors.  Janette likes to spend time with her husband at their cabin in Montana where they can enjoy the beauty God supplies.  She takes her camera and dog, Zeke, with her everywhere she goes.  I hope you enjoy her photography as much as I do.  Her photographs are all taken with a Canon Power Shot Camera and are her sole property.

    1. Hi my friend I hope you are doing well. I would be so frightened to be that close to a bear. Glad you enjoyed her work. She is my dearest friend. One thing about the Northwest is that it is beautiful. My daughter still lives outside of Seattle. Thanks for the visit. Have an amazing day. Love, hugs and blessings. 💕❤️🤗Joni

      1. Thank you so much Joni for sharing my pictures. The first sunset was actually taken in Stanwood WA, with the trees & the Olympic Mountains in the background. I love you & feel so honored you wanted to share something that brings me such pleasure!

      2. It is my pleasure and honor to show your beautiful work my beautiful friend. I think Scott actually ask me about that one photograph also. Glad you cleared that up. Thank you

      3. Yes I actually wondered about that bear myself. You are a brave soul but wouldn’t want to think you were that close to such a big bear. You are such a tiny thing and their hands are amazingly large. Thanks so much Janette for being on my site and sharing your beautiful work. Love you sweetie

    1. Cassa I am definitely better thank you so much. I am glad you enjoyed her photography. She is a jewel of a person too. Sending love and hugs Cassa. 💕❤️🤗 Joni

    2. Thank you for taking the time to view my pictures that my dear friend Joni shared on this amazing website. Such a great group of people here!

    1. Great eye my friend. I didn’t see it at first but my husband found it right away. Great eye. Thanks for sharing and for visiting. She does a great job and loves nature and reading. Thank you. Sending love and hugs. ❤️💕🦋

      1. I am so much better thank you my friend. Hope you have a wonderful and blessed weekend. Love and hugs and fairy surprises coming your way. 💕🤗❤️🌼🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️

      2. Well say no more ten fairies are on their way. They will be bringing gifts made from the finest silk. I have silk worms in a small cabin behind the house, trees grow through the floor and they work there. All I know about your silk gifts is that small angel wings will be intricately involved. Also they tell me that you will use these gifts mostly at night. Enjoy. I am borrowing Katy’s (foresting365) dragons to help with delivery. I hope you love your gifts. With lots of love Joni

    2. How clever you saw the bear head. I took this picture probably 8 years ago & have it blown up in size on a canvas frame & never noticed. I’ll be seeing the bear head all the time now, thank you

      1. I am sure it will. Thank you for mentioning it. So cleaver. We missed it too. I am sure it meant a lot to Janette. Thank you. 💕🤗❤️😘🌼Love Joni

    1. Thank you Stuart I am glad you enjoyed them. She is my dearest and longest friend and is a great photographer. Sorry about the abrupt message earlier. I forgot about my virtual Dr. appointment and had to roll. What a wonderful help you are providing new science fiction writers and those folks like myself that haven’t published volumes like you have. Also delighted to hear you are going to have your vaccinations the two of you. That is wonderful. I get mine next week. We are still really isolating but feel so much better now that our new President Joe Biden is being extremely pro-active. Feeling very blessed in that department. I am going to try and catch up a bit but I probably will still miss some post. Thanks for providing links as well. Very helpful. You two take care of each other. ❤️💕🤗love Joni

      1. No need for an apology, Joni. Hope your appt went well. I’m now ‘jabbed’ for the 1st dose, so will soon be a little safer. Valerie is younger, so she has to wait a couple of weeks for hers.
I am so glad Trump has gone. Let’s hope Joe Biden lives up to his promises. So far, so good with his reversals of the other buffoon’s dreadful policies.
You and Scott keep safe and stay well.

      2. It did thank you. I am grateful you both will have your vaccine soon and Valerie too. I have an autoimmune disorder otherwise I would be waiting for months and Scott is quite a bit younger than me so there is no telling when he will get his first vaccine. Ditto on the Trump comment. I am thrilled with getting rid of incarceration for profit. If you have ever seen any documentaries on this subject it will literally make you sick to your stomach. I am very hopeful about our Country’s future. I have been touched by both my British and European friends concern for our Country. Big hugs!!!! Love ❤️ Joni

      3. I was aware of the way the US prisons are used as sources of cheap labour, Joni; saw a couple of documentaries on this a few years back.
I also have a couple of autoimmune conditions, which is why I was among the first in my over 70s age group. A neighbour is quite jealous that I’ve had mine and she’s still waiting for hers, but I suggested that might be to do with surnames and that seemed to satisfy her!

      4. I should have known you would know about this despicable practice with all the research you do. I am so glad you are getting your vaccines. I wondered if people would start having issues with how people are on the list. I am sorry you suffer from autoimmune disorders as do I but that does make us much more vulnerable. Hopefully your neighbor will eventually be grateful for you not upset. Have an amazing day my friends. Sending flowers to Valerie today to make wonderful color and smells to spread around the home. Love ❤️ Joni 🌺🌸🌼🌻🌼🌸

    2. Thank you so much for your comment. I respect nature & wildlife & was inside my vehicle to take pics of this beautiful black bear in Montana. He was curious of us looking at him, but decided eating was more interesting!

    2. Thank you for viewing my pictures that my dear friend Joni shared. It really makes me happy to have others have a smile when they see my picture. Nature is just spectacular!

    1. She is my best friend living in a beautiful area outside of Seattle. She has a keen eye and we met working together. A beautiful woman inside and out. She loves the outdoors and crabbing, fishing, three wheeling and her photography. We are the same. We both wear our hearts on our sleeves. Thanks John for your kind comment and I know she will appreciate it. It is nice to read your work again my friend. I sure missed all my friends. Sending lots of love. ❤️❤️🤗

      1. I did training twice at Fort Lewis. It is a amazing and beautiful location outside of Seattle. Good morning dear Joni from the frozen and cold Michigan.

      2. Oh I bet it is cold there. I have been on that base before long time ago. Lots of memories on line this morning. It is 35 degrees with wind here in NC this morning. Sometimes I do miss living all close to so much cultural activities. Seattle is beautiful when it isn’t raining. When we were there one year it rained 90 days in a row, drizzle but also very cloudy and we moved after that year. My husband could work from home so we could live anywhere. Have an amazing weekend my friend. Love ya Joni 💕🤗❤️🌼

      3. I believe it. My husband loves NC but I can’t take the 90 plus degrees for five months out of the year. As we get older I think the severe cold and heat are both hard on us. Wow you trained for a long time there. Stay safe my friend. We know so many people that have COVID it is nuts. I haven’t been anywhere except for walks in the neighborhood and the both virtual and in-person Dr. appointments. Please be careful there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme nor reason for why some people get sick and others don’t. Love ya my friend. 🤗❤️💕🦋🦋

    2. Thank you so much for taking the time to view my pictures that my sweet friend Joni shared. I hope it made you smile.

    1. Just in case I didn’t say thank you for viewing my pics, I want to say thank you. I am not use to my pics being shared besides my family, which of course is my lovely Joni

  2. I hope I thanked all of your writing community’s comments about my pictures, I am so grateful they are so supportive of you Joni & enjoying some pictures that I took. It really is such a positive feel. Love you!!

    1. Thank you my friend. They did enjoy them. It is such a supportive community. If you ever want to get a WordPress account you could write about the Northwest and Montana and show your beautiful photography. You can be a featured guest anytime, it is my honor to have you. Love you Janette 🤗❤️🦋

    1. Oh thank you sweet Button. These are from my longest and best friend who lives outside of Seattle. She is a woman who is a lover of other women, never jealous or full of envy of successful women but happy for her friends. We have been supporting each other for years. She is so talented. Her husband adores her, and I adore her kind heart. Women so need to stick together and support each other. We can’t expect the business world to treat us equally if we can’t support our fellow sisters around the world. If only we could be a supportive community like men support each other. Imagine where women would be today. So excited to see if you had won “Piece of the Year,” from Spillwords this morning it was the first thing we checked. Not up yet, congratulations again, I am so happy for you. That is such gorgeous work, I hope people got their votes in. Spillwords Press NYC is a wonderful magazine filled with such talent. Sending love, hugs, and blessings. Congratulations again for the nomination my friend.
      Love you
      Honeybun 💕🤗❤️🌸🌺🌹🌹🦋

      1. My pleasure honeybun. I am happy you guys are such great friends. Two very talented women. Beautiful.
“Women so need to stick together and support each other.” You know I strongly agree with you.
” So excited to see if you had won “Piece of the Year,” from Spillwords” “Joni, that is very sweet of you. It brings tears in my eyes. I am humbled by the nomination. However, to win one needs to put a lot of work in. One needs to mobilize, family, friends, etc. I did none of the above. So..

Thank you again for sharing such wonderful pictures. You are a gem. Have a magical Sunday
        Love you

      2. Well we mobilize our family as we are all fans dear Button. I know you two believe in women truly having a United front. Perhaps one day with youth of this new generation they will strive to pull us together.

Yes, I have always said, “You are a blessed woman indeed if you have three true friends and I still believe that.”

I still have my fingers crossed dearest Button that you may be blessed with a win. Sending you my love, my hugs and prayers always.
        I love you,
        Honeybun
