tears crystalize on my small face like water on frozen glass
quivering my hand reaches out with such yearning
colors of sapphire, and rubies I throw onto our canvas
arising shapes of merriment mix with raw, passionate memories
cascading like secret rivers seeking new tributaries
flutes thrill as life kisses my soul, and an orchestra performs
tiny dancers twirl, floating on an atmosphere which is untainted love
mournful aching brings tears to the sky, as a violin cries her tune

      2. Oh I am sorry to hear that my friend. Are you able to get out at all John? It is too hot to even take walks right now but I was able to see my daughter from Seattle and grandchildren and that was so nice. Except for that pretty much masking up and buying groceries. Sorry it is still bad where you are. We are living in crazy times. Take good care of yourself my friend. Love ❤️ Joni

      4. Oh well that sounds nice. I lived in Virginia Beach and Norfolk when I was growing up. I am sure things have changed so much but I loved living on the beach. My father was given the place to live in while he was in the service. It was so nice. That sounds like something nice to look forward to my friend. Wishing you a wonderful weekend my friend.     1. Thank you my friend. Hope all is well with you. I wish you didn’t have to work. I am glad I retired early as I don’t play well with politics in the work place. I am very honest and I don’t care if I am talking to the President of the company. So I don’t know how long I would last in a political based work place.
