My Featured Photographer Piera Jill

Piera Jill Bobroski is a photographer who has a passion for taking portraits for her closest friends, action shots for her son’s hockey team, and nature photographs of any kind.  She also takes real estate photos for local realtors, and loves to dabble in making interesting videos.  A favorite Aunt gifted her with her first film camera at age 12, and she’s been taking photos of anything and everything ever since.  She lives in NC with her husband, her favorite hockey player, and her dog.

It is my privilege to have Piera’s work on my site. Her work is also featured on my poems “Old Soul” and “Las Montanas De Ella.” If you would like to see more of Piera’s work check out her Twitter.com/richmondgirl85

      1. Thank you so much Francisco. She would be responding herself but it is a busy time for her with graduations. She has done all her work for free except for the real estate work. She knows about your work so she will be very flattered. I am pretty sure she already follows you on Twitter. Great praise coming from such an amazing talent like yourself. So thank you so much again for your kind comments this will make her feel so good, she is shy about her work. I am so happy that folks are enjoying her work. She is a really kind hearted soul. Love to y’all from NC. 🌺🌸❤️

      2. Oh thank you so much. You both are so kind. By the way I loved the photograph of you in the center of your Instagram page, surrounded by all your gorgeous work. You are in what looks like a beautiful park. I wonder if your wife took the picture? My husband and daughter are the only ones I let take my photo except for my featured guest. I am shy about having my photo taken. Sending love to you both and buckets of Bougainvillea for your wife to string garlands of nature’s beauty all over your home. Hugs 🤗❤️Joni

      3. Thank you so much Joni! We both truly appreciate it! Yes, she took the picture. That was walking through the “river” which is what we call our park, the Gardens of Turia and that area is called the “pine forest”. Lots of love to you and your husband from sunny Valencia,
Take good care and stay safe,
        Francisco

      4. Your welcome it was a really sweet catch I had a feeling your love took it. “The Gardens of Turia” what a beautiful name. I think it deserves a poem too. Love and hugs to you and your wife from us. Enjoy your day together. 🌸🌺❤️Joni

    1. Oh thank you Stuart I am so grateful you visited. She was thrilled when I told her that you thought she should display her work after you saw the photograph she took of me for Gabriela’s gracious post of my work. I dated a guy once who occasionally shot for National Geographic. He told me I wasn’t someone who could be photographed because of the angles in my face. She certainly proved him wrong. Needless to say I didn’t date him much more because that was such a heartless thing to say. Thanks again my friend. Sending love to you and yours. 🌺🌸❤️ Joni

      1. A good photographer, with empathy for his/her sitter, can generally convey the real person in a photograph. It takes knowledge of lighting, angle, focal length of the lens, composition, and, most importantly, an ability to put the subject at ease. I was once commissioned to photograph a woman who was the candidate for a local election into politics. Looked at dispassionately, she was most definitely not a glamourpuss! But she had great character and personality, and that’s what I tried to convey through the portrait. She was delighted! I think you’re well shot of the NG photographer, Joni.

      2. Oh you are so sweet. Thank you Stuart. I am sure you are right about all the knowledge making a big difference of course. You are also right about making the person feel at ease and everyone does not have that gift. I imagine you are wonderful at making people feel comfortable. I am sure the person you photographed was very pleased. You found the woman’s strong points and saw her beauty and captured that. Everyone has a unique beauty about them you just have to look for it which is exactly what you did. Have an amazing day Stuart and I still hope to see your photography of the lily pads in bloom. Love and hugs to you and yours. 🌺🌸💕Joni
