My Poem, “The Nature of Jazz”, Now Live at Spillwords.com

Besieging me with her exquisiteness was the sea.
Palm trees rustle, rejoicing in a seamless tune.
Anegada sends echoes from an aging graveyard
of polished conch shells gleaming rosy pink.
Caribbean an indigo blue, crafting elusive ripples
in unison as gliding pink flamingos shriek gently.

      4. Thank you dearest Button. Aren’t fireflies like a little gift of love. I saw them in our backyard two nights ago for the first time here. It is the same as when a hummingbird pauses right by you, it feels like God is giving you a kiss on the cheek. May you have sailboats full of days like this. Love and blessings to you dear friend. Honeybun 🌸🌺❤️💕

      1. I am sorry. Two days ago you sent me a comment around 5:00 pm EST but I didn’t get it until 15 hours later. I responded the next morning and I got your comment right away. I know it is stressful. I always respond to comments as I know you do as well. I think it may be the amount of traffic. I will let you know the next time it looks like I did not receive your comment until later. Rest assured when I get a comment from you I respond within minutes. Unless of course it is a night owl post or comment. I go to bed by 9:30 or 10:00. Hugs my dear friend. 🌸🌺❤️
