Valley of Flowers

faces blending with a canopy of smiling clouds
as one we drift towards the vast firmaments
our bodies slowly melding into one being
creating a celestial prism dispersing light
into the colors of the rainbow energies float
in heavenly dust, crimson, sapphire and golden hues
a spiritual mission of universal yearning to follow
one another through this life and on to the next
I hear the 3-note trill of the Red-whiskered bulbul
as we float over the Valley of Flowers in India
we see the sloping meadows ignited with orchids
we smell turmeric and cardamom
with its fragrant black seeds
as glowing transcendent heavenly light
we move towards a gate made from a single pearl
welcomed as God’s children into a gate that
never closes, for we are finally home
in the new Jerusalem

    1. Thank you so much I appreciate your kind words and wonderful encouragement by reading and following my blog. Blessings to you my friend. Love you 😘 Joni

    2. Hi Joni! A beautiful touching write. I do love your images too. View your sweet childhood photos, I could not find the comment section.😞. Any way they are beautiful! Not a scar could be seen on your soul. The world today, I feel is more scarier than yesterday. Today we have more evils and demons to deal with. Alcohol has always been an addiction of the spirit. And not only was it bottled in liquid form but alcohol to me is any thing spiritual or physical that presents itself as a remedy. The bottle is now in smoke form, powder, pill many spirit forms that trick the flesh and mind. I am always sad!

      1. Thank you for your extremely kind words. I am humbled by your kindness really. I hope you are not always sad. If you are a sensitive person there are a lot of heart breaking things to be sad about. My parents were extremely abusive with their alcoholism and mentally as well. It took me many years to begin to feel safe because the only thing that kept me alive was God. There were too many times I should have caught a bullet from my dad, drowned or mostly been killed in auto accidents but here I am. I am so grateful for everything that I have and how much my life was blessed. My mom and dad were gone before I was thirty and I completely forgive them. I also think they had such horrible childhoods it is a miracle they survived as long as they did. I am a very fortunate woman trust me. Thank you for your kind heart. Love and many hugs to you. Joni 🌸🌺😘❤️

      2. Thank you Joni. I myself died many times but God didn’t let me. I know that God keeps us for his purpose and will, that I like. We are blessed Joni. Big big Hugs back to you!❤️

      3. Much love, blessings and prayers to you my friend. Yes I believe He definitely does. So grateful you are here. Love much. Joni 🌸🌺😘❤️💕🙏

      4. I will be relaxing and that is what I need. May we both relax and reflect on all that is good and spiritually nourishing! Happy Friday and Big Hugs to you Dear Friend Joni! ❤️💕💕🌺🌺💕💕❤️

    1. Thank you sweet Rhen. In Revelation it talks about the gates being made of a single pearl. It will be truly something. Thank you for your kind words my dear sister. Have a blessed, safe and wonderful day. Love 💕 Joni

      1. I know right. It is the purest of the stones. God made them to start with so imagine what that will look like. Yea!!! Have a blessed evening sweet sister Rhen. Love 💕 Joni

This writing is divine. What a poem. I am afraid to touch it. I am afraid that I will break its magic.
Beautiful. Some things will be forever cherished. This poem is one of them.

    Stay blessed and inspired Joni.

I have gained confidence from praise that has come from such a talented mentor. I feel like your students are so blessed to have you as their professor. I took a nap and woke up to this. 1. My apologies, I didn’t see this comment until just now. I chatted with an accommodating person on WordPress for about an hour to understand how I could be missing comments.

I found out today that WordPress limits the number of notifications you can have (a relatively small amount that’s not configurable). If I don’t respond to comments quickly (which includes new posts on every site I follow), it is likely to drop off. This means I won’t see a comment at all, as I have reached my limit, and the comment drops off.

I should be able to bypass this limitation by checking the comment section of my WordPress account on the computer many times a day. Please accept my apology, and I sincerely hope you have a blessed and fantastic day!

    1. Thank you so much for your especially kind comment. I apologize for the late response. I saw that I had 29 spam comments and yours was one. I don’t know why and hopefully that will never happen again. Sending love and blessings your way. 🌺🌸💕 Joni

    1. This is probably the kindest and most touching comment I could receive from someone who loves and reads me. Not to mention such a great writer herself. Anna truly thank you for reading me. I love you bunches. Happy Valentines Day to you. Sending prayers for many blessings to you and your family. 💕🤗❤️😘🙏Joni
