Io

Dancing feet under the snowfields of Jupiter
While seventy-nine moons illuminate your cheek
Piercing strength your jaw touches mine
Fire runs through me
Lips embrace, and I am dizzy in your arms
Gliding beside melting snow
Ice cools my skin
If only till you touch me once again

  1. Wow, I never knew that Jupiter had 79 moons!

This is beautiful – gigantic celestial bodies used to describe love, a force so powerful that God used it to create our existence. Perhaps only celestial bodies could capture its magnitude, great analogy!

    1. Dearest Rachel what a nightmare today has been trying to understand why I was not getting comments. So very sorry my dearest friend. I hope this works, I have 37 people that this happened too. Love to you my sweet friend and please know I would never ever ignore a comment.

My apologies, I didn’t see this comment until just now. I chatted with an accommodating person on WordPress for about an hour to understand how I could be missing comments.

I found out today that WordPress limits the number of notifications you can have (a relatively small amount that’s not configurable). If I don’t respond to comments quickly (which includes new posts on every site I follow), it is likely to drop off. This means I won’t see a comment at all, as I have reached my limit, and the comment drops off.

I should be able to bypass this limitation by checking the comment section of my WordPress account on the computer many times a day. Please accept my apology, and I sincerely hope you have a blessed and fantastic day!

    1. Thank you sweet friend. I am glad you like the photo too. I didn’t know much about the planet until I read about it and I was trying to imagine the planet with snow and ice. So many moons can you imagine. Love you Janette my dear friend. ❤️💕😘Joni
