Touch (third in the sense series)

I gently stroke the stubble on his freshly buzzed scalp,
run my fingers over the sharpness of his resilient jaw,
and the large constricted vessels along his temple,
massaging the tense muscles of his broad shoulders,
as I watch his lips form a surrendering and relaxing smile.

The texture of his t-shirt is rough and tightly holds
the heat radiating from his body and a line of sweat,
running down the center, dampness which longs for touch,
feeling his body beginning to melt with my gentle caresses,
tracing his outer ear lobe, I whisper, I love you so much!
